Religions are an important in life and they can play a big role in ensuring that the environment of the earth is not degraded in any way. This is because all major and minor religions of the world insist that that the earth should be taken care of as if it were a treasure we hold for the future generations and that we should ensure its preservation so that we can hand it over in its original form.
We shall look at what some religions say regarding the environment. It is hoped that the followers of religions will try their best to make sure that they play their role in making the environment better, as it is a sin to degrade the environment.
